लेखांकन क्या है ? What is Accounting? Hindi

लेख एवं अंकन दो शब्दों के मेल से वने लेखांकन में लेख से मतलब लिखने से होता है तथा अंकन से मतलब अंकों से होता है । किसी घटना क्रम को अंकों में लिखे जाने को लेखांकन (Accounting) कहा जाता है ।

किसी खास उदेश्य को हासिल करने के लिए घटित घटनाओं को अंकों में लिखे जाने के क्रिया को लेखांकन कहा जाता है । यहाँ घटनाओं से मतलब उस समस्त क्रियाओं से होता है जिसमे रुपय का आदान-प्रदान होता है ।

सरल शब्दों में लेखांकन का आशय वित्तीय लेन देनों को क्रमबद्व रूप में लेखाबद्व करने, उनका वर्गीकरण करने, सारांश तैयार करने एवं उनको इस प्रकार प्रस्तुत करने से है, जिससे उनका विश्लेषण व निर्वचन हो सके। लेखांकन में सारांश का अर्थ तलपट बनाने से है और विश्लेषण व निर्वचन का आधार अन्तिम खाते होते है, जिनके अन्र्तगत व्यापार खाता, लाभ-हानि खाता तथा चिटटा/स्थिति विवरण या तुलन पत्र तैयार किये जाते है।

उदाहरण

किसी व्यवसाय में बहुत बार वस्तु खरीदा जाता है, बहुत बार विक्री होता है । खर्च भी होता रहता है आमदनी भी होता रहता है, कुल मिलाकर कितना खर्च हुआ कितना आमदनी हुआ किन-किन लोगों पर कितना वकाया है तथा लाभ या हानि कितना हुआ, इन समस्त जानकारियों को हासिल करने के लिए व्यवसायी अपने वही में घटित घटनाओं को लिखता रहता है । यही लिखने के क्रिया को लेखांकन कहा जाता है । अतः व्यवसाय के वित्तीय लेन-देनों को लिखा जाना ही लेखांकन है ।

लेखांकन के प्रारंभिक क्रियाओं में निम्नलिखित तीन को शामिल किया जाता है :

  • अभिलेखन (Recording) :लेन-देन को पहली बार वही में लिखे जाने के क्रिया को अभिलेखन कहा जाता है । अभिलेखन को रोजनामचा कहते हैं अर्थात Journal भी काहा जाता है ।
  • वर्गीकरण (Classification) :अभिलेखित मदों को अलग-अलग भागो में विभाजित कर लिखे जाने के क्रिया को वर्गीकरण कहा जाता है । वर्गीकरण को खाता (Ledger) भी कहते हैं ।
  • संक्षेपण (Summarizing) :वर्गीकृत मदो को एक जगह लिखे जाने के क्रिया को संक्षेपण कहा जाता है । संक्षेपण को परीक्षासूची (Trial balance) भी कहते हैं ।

The act of transcribing events into numbers to achieve a specific purpose is called accounting. Here events mean all actions in which money is exchanged.

In simple terms, accounting refers to orderly accounting of financial transactions, classifying them, preparing summaries and presenting them in such a way that they can be analyzed and interpreted. Summary in accounting refers to making a table and the basis of analysis and interpretation are the final accounts, under which the business account, profit-loss account, and account / position statement or balance sheet are prepared.

Examples


In a business, a lot of items are bought, often sold. Expenses are also kept, income is also kept, how much is spent, how much income is spent on whom and how much profit or loss is made, to gain all these information, the businessman writes down the events in his own lives . This writing process is called accounting. Hence accounting is the accounting of the financial transactions of the business.

The following three functions are included in the accounting initialization:

Recording:
The act of transcribing the transaction for the first time is called recording. The inscription is called Roznamcha i.e. Journal.

Classification:
The action of dividing written items into separate parts is called classification. The classification is also called Ledger.

Summarising:
The verb to write classified items in one place is called summarization. Abbreviation is also called Trial balance.

With the increase in the size of business in the modern era, the complexities of business have also increased. Business is related to many customers, suppliers and employees and hence hundreds, thousands or millions of transactions take place in the business world. All transactions take place. It is difficult and impossible to memorize all transactions linearly. We want to know the benefits of business and also want to know how much his assets are, how much his liabilities or liabilities are, how much his capital is, etc. Accounting for all these things is required.
